🚀 Mission Possible STAAR Success Parade & Pep Rally! 🚀

Armstrong Elementary invites all 3rd and 4th grade parents to join us for our Mission Possible STAAR Success Parade and Pep Rally on Monday, April 13th!

Please arrive by 1:45 PM so you can be staged along the parade path. The parade will begin promptly at 2:00 PM.

As our students prepare for the Reading STAAR on April 14th, we want them to feel the strong support of both home and school. Let’s come together to cheer them on and remind them how proud we are of their hard work.

We are their biggest fans and believe in all our ASTROS!

Our assistant principals give their hearts each and every day through their dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the success of our Astros students, staff, and families. Their support behind the scenes and in our classrooms helps make our campus a place where everyone can thrive. Our 3rd grade students are making the most of every learning moment! ✏️📘 During this focused learning time, students are strengthening their math skills and refining their writing through meaningful practice, collaboration, and support from their teachers. It’s exciting to see their confidence grow as they continue building the skills they need for success. Keep up the great work, Astros we are proud of you! 🚀💙

Our 4th grade students are hard at work! 📚✨ Across classrooms, they are actively engaged in learning and collaborating with one another through small-group discussions, whole-group instruction, and targeted support with their teachers. It’s inspiring to see their focus, teamwork, and determination as they prepare for the upcoming STAAR assessments this month, April 14th reading and April 28th math. We are proud of the effort our students are showing each day—keep up the great work, Astros! 🚀💙

A huge THANK YOU to all the amazing families who joined us for our math event at HEB in Conroe! ✨ Your enthusiasm, curiosity, and support made the day truly special. We loved seeing so many young minds engaged, learning, and having fun with math.

Huge thank you to HEB for hosting Armstrong Elementary this evening! Our families had an amazing time participating in a fun in-store scavenger hunt, solving grocery shopping math problems, and bringing math to life. We appreciate the support and creativity that made this experience memorable! 🛒✨

Mark your calendars & save the date for Wednesday after Sprung Break. Join us on March 18th for a fun-filled Family Math Night. We’re partnering with H-E-B on North Frazier to bring our community an exciting math scavenger hunt in the store with prizes, and hands-on activities for the whole family. This is a Title I Family & Community Event, and we can’t wait to learn, play, and celebrate math together! 👉 Bring the kids, bring your energy, and get ready for some math fun!

2026 Color Run was filled with fun! Thank you to all who participated.

🚀🎨 Astros, It’s Time to Sign Up for the Color Run! 🎨🚀 Be sure to get your Astro signed up for this year’s Color Run if you haven’t done so already! This is our annual campus fundraiser, and it’s always one of the most exciting days of the year at Armstrong Elementary School! Your registration fee includes: ✅ Entry to participate in the Color Run 👕 One official Armstrong Astro t-shirt for your student We encourage all parents and families to come out and cheer on your Astro! Bring signs, posters, and noise makers to help us create a high-energy, fun-filled atmosphere for our students. Let’s make it a day full of color, laughter, and Astro pride! 💙❤️ 🧹 Volunteer Help Needed: If you have a cordless leaf blower and are willing to bring it to help us clean students off after the run, we would greatly appreciate your support! Don’t wait the deadline to pay is Thursday, March 5th to participate - get signed up today!

2025-2026 Teacher of the Year: Ms. Rangel Ms. Rangel is committed to excellence in everything she does. As the third-grade team leader and a member of our HQIM committee supporting the math adoption for the 2026–2027 school year, she continues to make a strong impact across our campus. Her strength in math planning is evident while providing quality instruction in the classroom to grow our Astros. She consistently opens her classroom to others during learning walks while also seeking opportunities to grow her own practice. Her dedication to continuous improvement truly sets the standard for excellence. She has built strong connections across campus and cultivates meaningful relationships with her students, creating a classroom environment where they feel supported, challenged, and valued. Congratulations on being chosen Armstrong's teacher of the year!

Humanitarian of the Year: Anabel Galicia Our amazing secretary, Mrs. Galicia, has truly been the heart of Armstrong. She leads with a servant’s heart for our students, staff, and families while building strong, positive community connections. She jumps in wherever she is needed and is never afraid of hard work. Her care, responsiveness, and positivity make a difference every single day. Congratulations on being chosen to represent Armstrong as the Humanitarian of the Year!

🚀🌟 Our Astros Leveled Up! 🌟🚀 We are so proud of our amazing Astros for earning the February Level Up Party! Through showing outstanding character being responsible, respectful, positive, and kind. Our students proved what it means to shine both in and out of the classroom. Keep up the great work, Astros!
