In recognition of Texas First Responders Day, Conroe ISD honors our police department and all of Montgomery County’s law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel. We appreciate their commitment to keeping our students and staff safe.

Today, on Patriot Day, we honor the memory of the victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and the remarkable bravery of those who responded in New York City, at the Pentagon, and in Pennsylvania.

Second grade students finished up the Tall Tale Unit with a culminating activity, retelling the story of Paul Bunyan with puppets. They had fun creating their puppets, turning and talking about the characters, and sharing as a class all they learned throughout the unit.
